CHRISTMAS MADNESS (image heavy entry)

So here goes! Christmas madness started off with me meeting dearest ting in the aftn before she leaves on a long flight again to Europe( I also want!). We went hunting for gifts and had Soup Spoon for lunch and that was a really horrible mistake(at least for me) which happened after I met up with the xmas gang but I am too embarrassed to to announce it here. Lets just say it was something that had happened before haha. We then went to Senki Restaurant to have dinner. Not too bad a place I guess? I didnt try enough food to judge it haha.

Proceeded to Yvn's place after dinner cuz we had no where to go due to the rain and that was where all the nonsense began!

Horrible game that we played. Circle of Death sucks especially when the rule cards fell into the not so nice hands of the guys. Rules that they set: The girls must squat on the chairs with their heads on the chairs and finally, the right hand must be up. Alas!

Continued with games like Pom tititititititititti and one more I can't rmb the name, one thing for sure, we made a din haha.

It was then finally 12A.M. so we started the gift exchange thing. Most of the gifts were nonsense la too much! Nonetheless, some were apt! Some only huh I insist!

And then it was this cheap thrill game I was the overall winner cuz I won the most no. of times muhahaha. Tired after all these games!

It was abt 3 plus A.M that we decided to go on with MJ! Haha that's the nvr say tired spirit!

Ahhh let me complain! Look at my almost winning tiles! For the first time ever, I had four animals! And it's like pong pong half colour! OH WELLS somebody had to hu with one tai! Tsk! We didn't gamble with money though!

Alrights so here's Day 3 and 4! We were at Hualien the other time and so from there, we went to Taroko National Park where there are beautiful landscapes and stuff.

Took a tour round the Taroko National Park Office to understand more about the founders of Taroko(there's actually a tribe that still exists now), how they hunt for food in the past and the diferent animals found in the mountains of Taroko.

Continued with photo-taking!

This is the entrance of Taroko Memorial Arch building to commemorate the deaths of the people who whose lives were lost due to the construction of the roads and stuff. We didn't walk further into it and instead, had coffee somewhere with really nice view of the small waterfall. No pics though! The white thing is very pretty I think it's erm marble? I can't remember!

And before we know it, it's the hot spring! haha I like! The water is really smooth and clear. Me, my sisters and mum had the private room with the "pebbled" tub with just 100NT (abt 5 sgd) per person and soaked in the hot spring for abt 45 mins. My dad and bro, however, were at the public hot spring (no charge) and they claimed that it was better than the private one. Oh wells.. I like the hot spring!

Towards the end of the day, we stopped over at the Master Bear Resort which is really cool and cosy! It's located in the middle of mountains and we can play with the fireworks. Okay it's not exactly playing with the fireworks it's just erm set the fireworks and then go "wah"? hahhaa

At night, there were some games and entertainment by the owners of the resort. They were really warm and friendly.

Left Hualien and made way to Kaohsiung (didn't know that it's actually spelt like this!) Had lunch in a restaurant at Mei Non Hakka Village.

Next stop: Fo Guang Shan

Quite a magnificent view cuz of the many golden Buddha statues around the place and a really gigantic Buddha statue .

Waited for some time before we could take a family shot in front of the big buddha statue cuz there were a group of caucasian and chinese hmm.. pilots? I duno. They were busy taking pictures too.

Hmm I'm sorry I can't rmb where this place is. Haha and this entire collage has the same background cuz I was just trying to fill it up.

Lastly, Dream Mall at Kaohsiung.
My siblings and I took the Hello Kitty Ferris Wheel at student price for 120NT (abt 6 sgd) each. I've not gone up the Singapore Flyer! Tsk tsk okay I know they're kinda different. Each ride lasts for abt 15 Minutes I guess?

I think I'm quite pro at taking photos of the Ferris Wheel. haha

Yup Day 3 and 4 are done. I feel that it's better than Day 1 and 2.

Went to the school bash at Zouk ytd. Somehow it was better last yr? And I was "kidnapped" by a few 损friends cuz my pleas to go home fell on deaf ears hahaha. I think I asked if we should go home for like 10 million times before they responded. The hideout was at Marina Barrage and this kidnap was not bad. I could still enjoy the night view although it was freezing cold! I only had 6 hours of slp and I'm not feeling tired! Weird. I have only one pic, yes one pic of us at the bash ytd cuz none of us had a camera with us. Took a few using other friend's cam though. Yeah here's us! (although only us 3 haha)

Okay I am free now so I shall blog abt the trip! Flight was 7th Dec 0030 can't really slp and hence was kinda tired when we reached TW early in the morning. Had breakfast somewhere at Taonan and then sat on the coach to Taipei and went to Fisherman Wharf and Tamsui Old Street. It's super cold and windy there!
Erm.. some stone thing which says dan shui sth se! I didn't know what it says I was just snapping away haha.
At the Lovers' Bridge with messy hair cuz of the wind. Youngest sister on the first pic her name is Donken or Chickey cuz she's a mixture of a donkey and a chicken! Sorry that's our own joke!

That's Tamsui Old Street where I finally tried the long long ice cream which wasn't very nice!

The fish ball thing and soup above is very nice! So comforting in a cold weather.

Our hotel in Taipei is located near Xi Men Ding (XMD) so in the aftn after lunch, the tour guide taught us how to navigate around XMD before leaving us the time to roam around ourselves. Chose to rest a little while in the hotel for 2 hours before hitting the streets cuz we were all tired.

First shop to visit at XMD: where else but Ah Chung Mian Xian?! Anyone want some? haha we ate a bowl and da bao back to the hotel another serving after shopping at 9 plus. I want to eat it again! Although the queue was very long, it didn't take much time before everyone got their share which is good!

We then wanted to eat the snow shavings at 三兄妹 but couldn't find it. It was after some time tt we realised that it was closed for the day. Oh wells we settled for this erm.. ice thing haha. I also duno what it's called. Quite nice also!
And yup, that's end of Day 1. Very tired! Good thing the hotel bed was comfy haha.

Day 2: Didn't feel like waking up but no choice! Morning call was at 0630 the

sun had risen by then. First stop after breakfast was National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall. Didn't spend a lot of time there though. Like erm 10 mins? I wanted to climb the stairs up to the hall but time didn't allow that. Oh wells.. could only take pics from afar. Martyr's Shrine was next. Went there to view an elaborate ceremony of changing guards hourly. That's what was written on the itinery.

Hmm nth much though. Witnessed the ceremony and then went around to take pictures!

The coach then took us to Chiufen. Nice scenery and food there. Hmm nth much to buy though! Okay I didn't really buy anything until the last day of the trip. Small and cute dog spotted. It was really small and had on a bumble bee clothing. How cute!

Left Chiufen and then proceeded to go to Hualien where we passed by and visited a Mazu temple at Yilan. I forgot to upload the pics from there. This was a toilet break from the 4 hrs of coach journey from Taipei to Hualien. Beautiful view with mountains and sea. I think I like the mountains haha.
Hualien is the place where many natives originate from. Hoho according to the tour guide, Jerry Yan is from a tribe too! The natives, aka yuan zhu ming in mandarin, are known to have powerful voices, have big eyes and double eyelids, and very good complexion. Hmm.. but I think almost everyone in TW have v good complexion cuz of the weather!

Overall that's Day 1 and 2. A bit boring I know haha. Day 3 and 4 were better! I'll update some other day. That's all for now. Time to slp! Nights!

I am back! Super lazy to do anything now and there's still an essay test tmr zzz. TW trip was good, weather was cooling and I didn't spend a lot cuz there was nth much to buy except for all the food stuff. Gained some knowledge on TW's history and the state the previous president is in currently. Tour guide was entertaining as well. I'll update on the trip when I'm free!

One bad thing is that, I think my dark circles became a bit worse! Tsk tsk!

Birthday surprise for fellow Hougang-ian (MAX SIM) at Hard Rock Cafe on Monday, and as usual I'm not going into details. In short, successful bday surprise by his gf, food was alright, live band was good, camwhoring session was fun too! HAHA
And that was Max trying to blow out his candles with the super looong straw.

Yays leaving on a jetplane in 3 days time and meanwhile, 3 more days of school with 1 lecture each day zzz. Super bored now. I'll go to sleep. Till then!

Fridays are a bore. They never fail to make me catch a cold or have blocked nose and doze off during class. zzz. I can fall asleep at almost any time on Fridays and Saturdays.

On a lighter note, more than half of my work schedules are completed yays!

The busy period has started - 3 days of work completed out of 13 and 10 more to go, all of which are at least 10 hours each day. Alas! I can see a super boring and busy 3 weeks ahead.

Took this on Monday while working for the Subaru Challenge event and it was pouring like crazy. There were 53 contestants remaining then. haha. The overall winner was a guy from Car 4, standing at 81 hours omg la.

Alrights, I have been very tired every day despite the fact that I did like almost nothing the whole day. Think it's the lenses. Kept having dry eyes. It's contradicting since I'm promoting lenses. I'm not using what I'm promoting though and it's time to change to using another brand! The brand I'm using (not selling) is getting really uncomfy these days. zzz.

Quick say Batman is super cute! haha.

Everyone's having a getaway. I want one too! Ohya I need face slimming pills/device/routine or whatever it is. It seems to be getting rounder with each passing day haha.

Halloween was a big big disappointment! The queue was horrible we were like queueing at an invisible queue no one knew where the queues were super duper crowded! First time at a Halloween party and yup no thankyou to party at zouk again haha. Many really dressed up but it was like really crowded lah only a few stood out haha. Saw quite a few familiar faces there too. We didn't manage to get in at first but somehow or rather we managed to get into zouk but had to pay for the entrance fee so oh wells we did and it was a wrong decision! Btw, we started queueing at like 830 and went in at 11? Madness!

Okays this was when we just reached and was with cp and his friends who were dressed up as some ancient soldier and hard gay! Hard gay was seriously too much hahah he was like really cool and very high he even rubbed his ass against the window shields of those passing cars. Too much man hahah. Well he did provide entertainment when we were queueing where all of us were perspiring like madd!
Saw 1.9m too! I didn't know 23cm matters sooooo much haha. He's like really dressed up! Kudos to him! Oh that was supposed to be my outfit but you can only see it in this picture cuz it was really stuffy to be wearing the headband!

Yeah and this was supposed to be the correct outfit la. Youtube video-inspired haha. So I dressed up as a gypsy (which I had no idea what that was before hw showed me the video) with all the scarves and long white skirt which I found in the cupboard at home. Wanted to go buy a wig so that I can have long hair for once but didn't have the time. Okay I should be carrying some crystal ball or potions instead of batman! Batman is super cute! He matches my outfit really well haha.

Jm and Jacelyn left before getting because of the horrendous queue which was a smart choice. Alrights we were finally in the club and only us 3! So squeezy inside. Oh btw, hw's supposed to a some lab kid and yvn a fairy but none of us were in our outfit because we paid to go in so it didn't matter if we were dressed up or not! Why? That's because we were directed to the queue where you had to pay to go in! The free entrance for ppl who are dressed up was another queue and it was like really really really loooong. Yeah so we somehow decided to pay and went in to look around.

We left zouk like really early. Around one and headed to Holland V and just loitered around haha.

Alrights long overdue post! 17th Oct was dearest Ting's bday and as usual, we decided on the place and everything at the last minute. We went to Coca at Taka and had our fill and throughout the whole dinner, I was msg-ing my opposite sex friend (private joke) haha. Anyway, bday surprise for the bday girl was a boyfriend! :)

Last night was Night Safari outing! It was really funny going around to take pictures with the ghosts and everything and everyone. 4 out of 6 ppl turned up and you'll know why later on.

Okay I look spastic here the dracula is very expressive! haha we were observing him the whole while as we queued for our turn.

We were basically fooling around with the props and ppl dressed up in halloween costumes.

This dim sum seller and her push cart is seriously tooooooooooooooo much man! Anyway, the seller is really eerie you won't want to look her in the eye I'm serious! She's giving me all the creeps eeeks!

One thing that I must emphasize: IT WAS REALLY CROWDED! We just randomly took pics with these kids who were all dressed up to join in the fun at the safari. He must be feeling super stuffy inside!

Yays we all emerged victorious!

And here's the reason why you only see 4 ppl so far haha. Can't blame us for being all smiley :)

Actually, like I said, it was really crowded at the safari, we did not have time to queue up for tickets to enter because we became all excited to take pictures with the ppl in costumes at the entrance we didn't bother to notice that the queue at all counters were like really long! After we had finished taking photos with all the 'ghosts' at the entrance. which was about an hour after we arrived, it was already like close to 9? It was already pointless to continue queueing and so we cabbed down to town and had dinner. So, no money spent at Night Safari itself haha. Do arrive early if you wanna get into the safari! I know there are more eerie things inside. Okay, I so wanna go for a Halloween party!

The November 20-somethings all the way till early December is gonna be a busy period yet again. Time to find classes to crash, study and work. Hmm I haven't been doing anything productive for the past 3 days. Time to get down to at least a little bit of work tomorrow!

Exchange rate for USD is rising while that for Euros and GBP are falling. Maybe it's time to switch from shopping at F21 online to some other places like ASOS and H&M for a change or what but in order to do that, I need some work yo. I'm a poor kid.

It's Sunday, a very boring one that is. Back from work in the evening with a semi-lost voice because of the blasting speakers at the atrium so I had to raise my voice to make myself heard. Tsk tsk! Nothing much to blog about except boring school days there's no refreshment during breaks they're out to cheat our money haha. For the past two weeks, I've been waking up very early on Mon and Wed mornings just to check if the weather is suitable for suntanning and the result has been the same, with me falling back to sleep for another four hours because the weather is not favourable. I'm like becoming some white chicken lah super yellow I need sunlight! Let's all pray that it will not rain tmr ok! Decided not to wait anymore and catch Hot Shot online and I gotta say that.. Jerry Yan is veryyyyyyyy hum sum! He is like the epitome of handsome-ness lah. Xiao Zhu is comical as usual. If only it's available on tv then it'll be sooo much clearer. Ah nee, if you're reading this, be sure to go watch it online ok! :) Back to watching Hot Shot!

I read a blog and decided to follow suit and downloaded the photo editing software online and well it's really not bad quite fun to play around with. Most importantly, it allows collages to be made in diferent layouts something like the neoprint machine where ppl can choose how many pieces they want it in. Very good for photoshop idiots like me haha. And so I was experimenting it with my Mooncake Festival pictures and they turn out a bit weird but oh wells..

On 15th August(supposedly last Sunday) according to the lunar calender, we went to carry lanterns! Wanted to go to East Coast initially but headed to Singapore River because it was said that there was some kinda celebration going on and there would be fireworks. Sadly, the source of information was suspicious haha. We hung around somewhere along the river in front of the Asian Civilisation Museum and started lighting up the candles and lanterns proudly provided by Huiwen, the usual organiser of such events/celebrations and guess what, she is so planning a horror movie outing which I am very very reluctant to turn up haha are you reading this?!

Stupid Cp and his private moments with everybody except somebody because someone was not there. Awwwww... Good thing he doesn't read this! =P

We then played with the very choking sparklers and formed random words like PVC and OPO it was super smokey.
Yup and that summarises Mooncake Festival '08. Go Chinese Garden next year!
I had a hair cut yesterday and looks very much like some kid now omg grow hair grow! I dun think I can ever have long hair because it just gets so stuffy and the hair will fall very out of place especially at the shoulder length everytime I try to keep it a little longer. And then I will be irrational and go chop it off and finally, complain to everyone about a bad haircut. Haha. Well, school oficially started today. Lots of unfamiliar faces but at least the lecturer today is good. This week is a busy week! Two more lectures to go, two more days of work, two more outings to attend, two miscellaneous things to do and three movies to watch. It'll be good to cancel horror movie outing! ;)

I have once again decided to open up my CHEEHUI POCKET MONEY FUND and all donars are welcomed! Haha officially broke again and I shall buy the things that I need and not wants zzz money woes just before school starts how great~ Okay my class starts tmr (yes, it's a Sunday)!

Been taking up odd jobs since I came back from my trip, with the first at IT fair, second as a receptionist and third as an on-site helper with registration at the Anit-Corruption Conference. I need more jobs!

Okay. Some time back, we went to celebrate Caleb, Sy and my bday at Vienna International Buffet it wasn't that great so I dun think I'll visit it again. Company was good cuz everyone was there.

Then on Thursday, we went to Timbre (again) instead of Dbl O due to unforeseen circumstances and my very evil pals tried to make me drink the Kamikaze shot (the one that made me embarrass myself in public) but "Thou shalt not drink" worked and I managed to push it away. Had some sprite whiskey or what though. They then tried to sabo me to drink it by playing the cai quan and everyone ended up drinking my share of the shot except me :) Peektures time!

We went kinda crazy on the last day of the IT Fair and these two pictures are super funny!

The two guys were amazed with BAGMAN, the Crumpler inspired bags they decided to take a picture with them..

and made friends with them the next day.

Timbre at The Substation today we should have made a reservation la! Waited for almost 2 freaking hours before we got a table for 4. So tiring and felt almost like sleeping when we finally got our table. Live band was not too bad, better than the previous time I went there and so we all posed with the Heineken bottle to act like pi jiu mei and I think Huiwen is the most suitable one la! Look at the background and the pose! Totally like one~! Hahhaah

I ordered the Lychee blended drink and uhh not too much of alcoholic taste compared to others like Mint sth sth which tasted very bad in my opinion. Also, Heineken is bad la I only tried a sip and no thankyou! We also drank the kamikaze shot. I had one after much deliberation and they had the rest. Conclusion: I am not a drinker at all.
Chilled for a while and left about an hour after we got our table and took some pictures as usual. But not a lot. Only 18 pics in total today haha.
Okay I am like very red! This is called good blood circulation ok!
Thou shalt not drink ever! and ever and ever!

Eeyer I just came back from the dental clinic and 20 minutes in there felt like 10 million yrs! Eeeks! Decided to pay the dentist a visit cuz I haven't been there for quite a long time and perhaps it's time to do a checkup and it's really kinda horrible to visit the dentist. Somehow this time round it's super painful and my gums were bleeding as he polished and scaled my teeth. I was like tearing and was so tensed up ahh! really dun like to visit the denist! Scheduled for another appointment 6 months later in March hope it'll not turn out that bad again!

Online shopping is addictive! But the shipping is always horrible zzz

Been up to quite a lot of stuff recently and most of them are over, with exception of the IT Fair coming up this Thursday. Odac ex-Og 2 outing last last week to somewhere new and interesting and that's Henderson Waves~! There were two arrows pointing in opposite directions as to where the bridge really is located and well, we made the correct decision!

None of us had any idea how to locate the bridge even with the arrow's direction but somehow after quite a long walk at Mt Faber, we finally caught a glimpse of it!
Surprisingly, all the 3 girls wore yellow :)
There are four main bridges in total but we only walked through Henderson Waves which is the most famous one. The Forest and Canopy Walk look nice cuz it's very nature-like and I think there are only trees or something surrounding the bridge. Shall visit there again next time! Ohya the total distance of the four bridges, fyi, is 9 km! And that excludes the walk from the bus stop to the very first bridge.

That's the end of the Henderson Waves, which in total is 0.3km. Didn't proceed to the other bridges cuz of unforeseen cirsumstances, mainly due to the weather because it rained for quite some time in the morning and delayed our journey to the bridges!

18/08/08 was Yvn the slow and Huiwen the great(?) 's 20th birthday! Me and Sin got them cards and some gifts and we had dinner at Sushi Tei in Holland V and made quite din there!

We ordered a little too much food and my Chicken Katsudon is not nice! I think the rice is nicer than the chicken =P Our side dishes are nicer than the main course and this reminds me of the chat after AHM at Swensens ytd tsk tsk

Okay back to bday celebrations, we went to cold rock for ice cream which ain't fantastic and I still like b&j's cookie dough and dublin mudslide the best =) We then started to take weird and funny photos like this one..

After cold rock closed for the night, we went to take random pictures at monster mash since it was closed and there's no one there. Too many pictures to be uploaded so just one will do haha.

Yup it's very coincidental that both of their bdays fall on the same day. Ahh all the August babies!

Besides having gatherings and bday celebrations, my four days of work as a receptionist had also ended! It was quite an experience and I would say the time past quite quickly :) Next up, IT Fair.

AHM ytd was.. not that bad although I was still hoping I need not run the very moment my eyes opened ytd morning cuz I ended up not training up before the run. Only me, Eve and Jm for the 10km run and guess what, we didn't do warm ups before the race cuz we were kinda late! I'm aching all over, feeling so stiff and walking like a penguin now. Hope it gets better tmr! Saw quite a few familiar faces there but most are acquaintances. In conclusion, I'm quarter a marathon runner and not gonna join any more runs anytime soon haha.

The Love Guru was really lousy we should have watched other shows like Money No Enough 2 or 12 Lotus or whatever it'd have been better. Actually both me and Ting had no idea what The Love Guru was about actually and just proceeded to watch it. Wasted 6 bucks and 97 minutes cuz it's really not entertaining zzz. Impromtu decision to meet Cp and his friend, Adrian at Timbre after dinner to chill, or rather watch Cp drown himself in sorrow due to his failure to get ahem's number. He kept sending me emo songs but I have nth to emo about haha. Guess I dun make a good emo friend after all. I've yet to meet up with b and g!

Caught Journey to the Center of the Earth ytd with eve and I must say it's 8265286027 times better than The Love Guru, at least it keeps you in suspense most of the time.

Hoho I'm finally working next week! It's a 4 days thing either as a receptionist or promoter though and the pay's so so but oh wells at least I have sth to keep me busy! Speaking of busy, I've been out almost every day since I came back and I've yet to do some follow up on my trip guess I better get them done soon.

For the first time in about.. six months, I'm gonna start running tmr! Boo AHM is next Sunday and here I am, just starting to train up and with work next week, let's just hope I dun get too tired or lazy to run in the evenings! Gotta wake up early in the morning tmr and this will last till Friday next week. I'm gonna start counting sheep and try to fall asleep!

Finally, we went to the long awaited Underwater World on Sunday (because I successfully made them wait till I return to SG before going) and became a tourist again. Didn't know that there would be so many tourists otherwise we'd have gone on a weekday. Here's the five tourists for the day..Well, this glowing red thing is called the sea angel and they're super tiny! Kinda gross jellyfishes..

And the sting ray is quite ugly although it looks like it's smiling.

Hmm not many interesting creatures though. I think I'll only go back 10 years later? The Zoo is a better place.

Rushed to Dolphin Lagoon because it's complimentary with purchase of The Underwater World ticket and only managed to see the dolphins for 10 minutes from an indeed very far proximity with lots heads blocking the way.

Songs of the Sea at 840pm and please don't get cheated the Sentosa day pass is only for one day within Sentosa and not in and out of it. Tsk tsk! We spent an additional 3 bucks to get in to catch the show because we went to Vivo to have dinner. Anyway, the storyline is kinda bad even though the effects and graphics were pretty good.

Who did it? We did it? Who did it? We did it? Haha this is supposed to be the princess or what lah I can't remember.

Same company with an additional of two heads for brownies today but due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn't get to eat them! Had ice cream at Thomson instead and had lotsa arrows flying around, leaving each and one of us, except Yvn and her beau, heavily injured at the end of the day. Haha very fun huh. The umbrellas broke due to the heavy rain and strong wind, someone's ice cream went into someone's eyes and lotsa funny stuff. GG!

Okay I'm kinda bored now there's almost nothing to do online except for watching shows and my eyes are tired from watching too much of them already. Well well I got back my appetite already but still hasn't been eating much. Realised that the AHM is like 2 weeks later? Omg so regretted I signed up for it I haven't run in ages! Think I better start jogging at least once before the event haha.

I miss the weather in Holland! It's like totally humid the monent I stepped out of the airport. Felt so different. I was also telling my parents how u can just leave your chocolates unwrapped on the table and there will not be ants, cockroaches or whatever coming out to feast on the food, or, u can leave the packet of biscuits anywhere and it'll still be crispy the next day. How great! The chocs won't melt either lo haha. Btw, I really became rounder already although there's only a KG gain in weight boo! I somehow became darker too.

Had OG outing on tuesday and it's been quite a while since I met up with my OG mates. Hmm actually it's been quite a while since I met up with anyone right haha. We went to some place in Arab Street which was stuffy like hell all of us were perspiring like mad plus the second hand smoke, totally blah! Almost died inside la! Some of the rest went to other cafe or pub to chill after dinner, which was like erm 11? I went home however haha.

Went to watch The Mummy 3 with Eve, June and Caleb on thurs and yeah not that good not that bad, just an average show. Batman was better! Met a long lost primary school friend too haha

Yesterday, for lunch, I had less than half a packet of chicken rice and less than half a cup of bubble tea, both of which I used to finish quite quickly. Had half a cup of mocca from starbucks during movies (I finally watched The Dark Knight!) and lastly for dinner, one chawanmushi and half a cup of green tea ice cream from sakae! And that's all I ate for one day without even feeling hungry at night. No appetite for anything. My stomach feels hollow, dun even feel it churn or whatever. I duno why but the chicken rice tasted different from what i used to eat, the bubble tea not as nice to drink as before and chawanmushi not as nice also! Get my appetite back! I want to eat!

Paris trip was on 25/06 to 28/06, a 4 days 3 nights stay over. The great thing besides all the attractions is that, 25/06 was the first day of summer sale in Paris! Lots of pictures are gonna be up and I'll try to put them in order.

The must-have when travelling around on your own in a foreign country, a guide book with a map.
First up, we had to check in to the hotel and it was located at Franklin D. Roosevelt. Champs-Elysees is the shopping street where many designer brands are at.
At the balcony of the hotel. Nice view with strong wind and hence my ugly hair. I seriously need a hair cut!
This.. was at Concorde if I'm not wrong. We were trying to find the Louvre.
Still on the way there, not forgetting to take pictures of course haha.

Like I said, there was strong wind that day and this was how it looked like when a sudden gust came and it became all blur and sandy.

Next, we proceeded to this place that's like really grand but sadly, I couldn't remember the name of the place! I'll check my guide book when I go back to SG cuz it's inside my luggage and I'm too lazy to open it after trying so hard to squeeze everything inside! This is the flight of stairs that one can take to reach the top where the grand place is but.. being lazy and afraid of muscle aches, we took the lifts instead. lol
My the other aunt wasn't lazy though. She climbed the stairs and took pictures as she went.
Tadaa! So nice! Blue sky, white building, small and colourful people. The interior is a church.

It's now 2am over here and I'm very tired because it was Gay Pride Day yesterday, 2nd Aug, and we went to join in the crowd to look at the canal parade at Amsterdam Central. Very very very crowded and lots of walking too! Pics up next time! I still have lots of pics of other places actually. Shall blog about them when I'm free! Got a temp job through Eve and I'm starting on Wed, 1.5 days after touching down after my two long months of holidays. Am I hardworking or what?! Lol. Guess it's back to reality very soon! Let's go out for dinner!

A little update although I wanted blog about the Paris trip which was more than a month a ago but there are a lot of pictures and will take quite some time. We went to Rotterdam last Saturday for the Summer Carnival and yes very pretty and colourful costumes. Also, my maiden experience in a casino! It's legal as long as you're above 18. Well, at first I exchanged 10 euros and lost all of it at the slot machine, which is not fun because three in a row doesn't seem to come out, followed by the roulette. So my 10 euros were gone just like that lol. But I decided to give it a go again at the roulette and exchanged another 10 euros (5 coins, 2 euros each) and inserted 3 coins into the machine and won back 6 coins overall (that's 12 euros, 24 sgd)! Therefore, I recouped my losses and won 2 euros hahha. Then on Monday, me and my grandma ventured out on our own to Leiden Central it's a shopping street actually. And finally, I went to explore Amsterdam Central on my own. Visited Anne Frank House despite the long queue and waited for an hour and a half! It's worth it though. Watched the Anne Frank: The Whole Story movie before visiting and the cast really look like the real people! No cameras allowed in the museum so no pics of the interior. When I read that the museum is really the actual house where the Frank and Van Pels families hid in during WW2, I had goosebumps which lasted for quite some time! Went to the secret annexe behind the bookcase too. Everything's well kept. Anne Frank was only 16 when she passed away and 1 month before liberation. Okay this sounds like some history lesson but it's really worth visitng! In the evening, I hopped onto a tram and went to the beach and so I was just taking pics of the surroundings and so on. When I got on the tram to go back and browsed through my pics, I realised one of my pics included a topless woman! Alas!

Super Grand Holland Tour

Well that's the name of the tour we joined on 24/6/08. The meeting time was 930 in the morning at Amsterdam Central so it's another day of waking up early again. First stop was De Zaanse Schans, a picturesque windmill village followed by a visit to a local clogmaker in one of the houses.

So here we are.. three windmills in a row!

Souvenir shop. The prices were more expensive than in other shops.Traditional clogs in different sizes.
This is the clogmaker it's really quite amazing to see how they are made. According to him, these clogs are worn by poor farmers in winter to keep their feet warm because they're too poor to buy boots.

Next, we visited a typical dutch farmhouse where cheese is stil made in the traditional way.

That's super a lot of cheese!
Anyone wants? hahaOutside the cheese factory. Weather is good.

In the bus, passing by some farms with lots of cows. Do you want to count how many there are? I counted and it was 24! According to the tour guide, if the cows are in the middle of the field, it will not be raining anytime soon but if they're near the canals or water, the weather is likely to be wet.
We then alighted at this place to walk to the harbour to take a boat. On the way there, we past by many pretty little houses with different colours of flowers.

On the boat! Hmm actually it's a ship hahaAt the harbour.

And so we reached Delft, the place where pottery is made. Not very interesting probably because I'm not exactly into pottery haha. It would be a different story if there's a chance to shape the clay yourself though.
Hopped on the bus again to the last destination. On the way we past by the International Court of Justice. It's located in Den Haag, the place where the Queen lives and works in. ICJ is really huge and magnificent looks like some sort of a castle. I never knew it was in Holland though. Thought it is in Switzerland or something.Last stop, a minature town also known as Madurodam. The place where it's the most interesting and took the most pictures.

Bruges(Belgium)

B stands for Brugge (in dutch), Belgium. It's actually a city or rather, small town in Belgium. The english 'name' of Brugge is Bruges. According to Wiki, along with a few other canal-based northern cities, it is sometimes referred to as "The Venice of the North". 3 days 2 nights trip there from 21/6 to 23/6.

Saw this when we were on the way from the train station to the hotel. I dun understand it.
Not long after we checked into the hotel, we set foot to tour around the town. There're many old buildings, cafeterias (westerners really like to chill), statues and so on.

Not forgetting Belgium chocolates! Look carefully.. anyone wants? hahaha one piece for 0.80€ that's $1.68 Sgd. Ex leh!

At first we thought some actor and actress were filming it turned out to be a real marriage of a couple!

The reason why we got to take a picture with them is because they borrowed our horse carriage to take their pics when the horse is having its rest. According to the horse guider or whatever you call that, women in pink gowns are either remarrying, or, not a virgin and it's kinda rare to see one in white gown. Hmm I was enlightened.

My old sister said there're too few pictures so I'm gonna load like 236286432 pics today. On 18th June, my aunt drove us to this Pancake House located somewhere among the waters, trees and all. The air is really fresh, the trees are really green and the scenery very beautiful!

I've got big feet.
We spotted this child trying to climb onto the roof top and she was wearing jailbird stripes! So dangerous! (Well.. this is actually a doll =p)

Then on the very next day, my aunt drove us again to this place called Giethoorn (pronounced as hit-horon if I'm not wrong). Again, beautiful place with canals everywhere. It's just like little Venice although I've never been there before.

It was drizzling slightly with strong winds that day. And I finally got to wear trench coat!

Such boats are for rent as well together with the paddles so you can actually paddle around on your own but because it'll be too tiring for all of us to paddle and it'll be kinda bad if it starts raining, we decided to pay for a boat that is covered and with an engine hahaha.

There're many bridges in Giethoorn because they link people to their houses. One house is linked by a bridge. So you can imagine how many bridges there are!

At the end of the boat ride, we went to the cafe nearby to have tea and coffee again though I always drink coke or pepsi. A cup of coffee or tea or a glass of coke costs about 2€ here that's like 4 SGD! This is the waiter boy who is very pretty hahahha.

Watched Wimbledon Men Finals last Sunday, Roger Federer, the five-time champion against Rafael Nadal. Since I know nuts abt Tennis, I rooted for Federer cuz ah han used talk abt him back then and my aunt says he's a humble guy. It was really exciting with Federer clinching his sixth championship title had he won the match but very unfortunately, he lost to Nadal. The match between the two lasted for 4 hours and 48 minutes and I started watching at the beginning of the third set with Nadal already winning the first two sets. Overall, it was a very good game and made me wanna play tennis too. The other time, the Euros Cup Finals, I watched the last 5 minutes of the game, Spain against Germany and Spain won. Nadal is from Spain too haha. Double championship for Spain this year. I duno why I'm typing all these actually.

It's raining almost every day for the past few days and getting kinda cold over here. The sun has also gone into hiding. I've been watching DVDs, many of them in fact. Oh we should all video call on msn next time it's fun!

Berlin(Germany)

Here's Berlin! It was a 3 days 2 nights trip there. The train journey was 5 hours and we had to catch it at 6 plus in the morning from the airport. Good thing my aunt stays very near the airport but I'm still very tired as you can see from the very serious eyebags tsk tsk!

Bus tour around the city for sightseeing. I think I'm tired and hence the half opened eyes..

Remains of the Berlin Wall. Small sections of the Wall have been retained at only six locations in the city area. This is one of the locations. We past by while on the bus.

Alright so on the third day, me, my aunt and my another aunt's friend went to another location where the Wall still remains. My grandma and my aunt went shopping. This part of the trip is my favourite cuz the Wall is really nice.

And we finally found the location where the walls are longer and got more historical 'feeling' to it. This part of the Wall was repainted and this explains why it is still so colorful and not 'pecked' by the Wall woodpeckers.

Hoho I'm back after MIA-ing for three weeks! Anyone misses me? hhaha i finally got the pics uploaded to my aunt's laptop cuz mine somehow can't connect to the wireless all of a sudden and hence the lack of updates. We went to Amsterdam Central that day took lots of pics okay there's a lot of me inside.

Sigh.. i didn't strike lottery! Sadded! Not even a euro! My aunt and my granny did! But not a million. My grandma won 8.5€ for a ticket and 10€ for another cuz she bought 2. My aunt won 5 € with her ticket and poor me didn't win anything! At least they earned back a little of their initial amount cuz each ticket costs 14.5 €. Not fair leh... hahaha. My lottery number is KE 028021. Maybe you guys can try buying in SG. The last four numbers of it always strike but in different permutations. Anyone who won gotta remember to treat me!

Hoho Holland has been winning the matches in the European Cup! I didn't watch though I only checked out the scores from my uncle. Hope they get into the finals and I will buy an orange and blue jersey to wear haha. There's a shop we saw today that gives out free beer with every goal that holland scores. They've been leading by 3 goals for the past 2 matches. So that's 6 beers per customer.

We went to Amsterdam Central today and saw the beautiful but slanted buildings and also the red light district for an eye opener. Really is eye opener lor lol the windows with curtains undrawn means there are customers inside already. There are many erotic shops also and I didn't go in of course. Saw many other interesting stuff and took many pictures I'll put them up when I'm free. It's kinda late now I need to wake up in 5 hours time to catch the train to Berlin, Germany :) I'l be back on tuesday!

It was a long flight and I could hardly get to sleep so I watched 10 000 B.C which wasn't fantastic there should have been more mammoths or something and listened to songs as well. I remember falling asleep only around 4plus am and then waking up at 5plus am to eat the ice cream that was served haha oh I took these two pics too! Think they're very pretty.

It was about 5 plus am NL time when we touched down. Did a lttle shopping on the first day and also try remembering some routes that we can take if we need to take trains. The flowers along the roadside are really colourful and pretty. They resemble those in The Sims where there're many different shapes and patterns of trees, plants and everything.

I have very serious eyebags due to the lack of sleep! It's much better now although my dark rings and eye bags have always been there.

We went to Schiphol Airport to shop around since it's very near my aunt's place. Didn't buy much there though. This was before we head out at the front of the house.

Today is stay home day because we've been out for the past three days so it's kinda tiring. Watched some shows and also this video that was taken when me and my elder sister and cousins were little kids like around 3 years old? Haha me and my sis had the same kinda hairstyle and she always bullies me! Note that it's present tense because she still does that. Tsk! Old sister you know what you've done hor hhahaha. Ate super lotsa things today my aunt says she's gonna ensure that I put on at least 2Kg before I can go back else ppl would think she mistreats me. I dun want to gain 2Kg! Oh wells I climb up and down the stairs everyday and there's quite and alot of steps and they're steep. It's a form of exercise itself already I hope. Alright because I'm adopting a healthy lifestyle, sleeping at 11pm and waking up at 8plus, 9 in the morning, I shall turn in already. Goodnight world! (The sky has just turned dark not long ago.)

Greetings from NL! :) I've been here for 3 days already. My aunt's house is still under renovation but it's still nice! Will be even nicer after completion. Weather is very cooling as well.. actually quite cold la haha. But I've my cardigans and shawl so it's okay. Everything's been good except for 2 not so good (in fact kinda bad) incidents that happened on the first and second day.

First thing: I brought 3 cans of abalone over in my luggage for my aunt cuz she likes to eat it. My grandma bought 4 cans over. The officers checked our luggages before letting us step out to the arrival hall and had them confiscated! This is such a tragedy la! 7 cans in total! That mounts up to about 400SGD? It's okay if the officer were honest and did not keep those for themselves because it's really forbidden to bring meat stuff over and it's our bad that we bring such stuff but if he's gonna keep them for himself, I hope he trips and fall la! Dun think he even knows how to cook it. I'd rather the 7 cans be thrown away. Stupid shit! Well that's the very first bad thing that me and my grandma encountered.

The very first thing I spent my money on is not food but well.. a lottery ticket which is not cheap! It's 14.5Euros which is equivalent to 29SGD? Didn't mean to buy it but cuz my aunt and grandma were buying so I said I shall take a gamble too and it turned out to be so expensive haha oh wells.. The winning numbers will be known tmr, 10/6/08. Pray that I strike! Then I'll be rich! hahaha and I wun be so angry with the officer if I win. Bought was a pink polo tee from H&M on the first day too.

Second bad thing: Not very bad la. Shall not go into details though.

I pulled the weeds last night after dinner for more than 2 hours! I can be a certified weed puller already and it's kinda fun pulling those weeds and despite exerting energy, there was no perspiration at all cuz the weather's v cooling! There's a sense of satisfaction also. The sky turns dark at about 10 plus pm at night so dinner is eaten when the sky is bright. V weird hor?

Salmon sashimi at Wasabi Tei is really good! But I wonder why the chef and his assistant do not put on any smiles when working, not even a faint smile okay! And I couldn't order an additional chawanmushi because all orders must be made together. Glad we tried it cuz it's really nice but I'll go back two months later! Didn't get anything today and I kept asking june, "you sure you dun wanna get this?" haha I'm a sun3 friend. We saw many nice heels as well but got nowhere to wear to and they're kinda high so not rational. Alright Iron Man and dinner date tmr! Goodnight!

I feel so like a typical Singaporean today. While waiting for hw to reach amk hub for SATC, I wandered around the hub aimlessly after collecting my stuff and applying for the card and it was when I saw a long queue at a store at B2. Seeing that it's durian pancake and that they smell nice, and there's some time to spare, I joined the queue! So typical but oh well I didn't regret queueing cuz the pancakes were really nice! The durian fillings were rich and the person who was making those pancakes weren't stingy and gave lots of it! Nice nice! The pancake itself was nicely cooked/toasted/heated whatever you call that and very crispy too! I'm so gonna eat it again!

SATC was funny overall it's not bad la quite entertaining! Caught Narnia two days back and it's v nice! Prince Caspian is very charming! hahaha and I'm finally gonna watch Iron Man on thurs! :) I wanna watch Batman too leh but got no idea when it'll be screened.

These few days seem to pass very quickly I cant really remember what I've done but oh wells plans for tmr, thurs and fri have been set! I think I need more time!

What supposed to be a fine and sunny day turned out to be a cold and wet day! Where's my tan where's my tan where's my tan?! We had a good 20 mins of sun before it started to drizzle and we packed and sought shelter somewhere and returned to the beach when the sun re-appeared. The sun then came and went and came and went and we were sitting there, observing people hooking up people. HAHA. Why isn't there any language barrier? It started raining quite heavily thereafter. Boo I'm still of the same colour. I want a tan! Think I've said it for three times already. Chinatowned after that we went to Exit E then D then C and lastly A. Couldn't find the exact place we were trying to find but well well we bought some deal stuff over there before heading back home.

Met up with Ting and Lai yesterday but didn't watch Iron Man due to unforeseen circumstances.

Yays! Exams are finally over! I'm so not gonna touch the pen for the next three months haha. No more:

Waking up early in the morning
Camping outside NLB's student lounge and coming up with a strategy to flank sides of the tables (because everyone will chiong in to grab a seat. situation is especially bad on weekends)
McDonalds breakfast at the Mac nearest to NLB ( i think is the Bras Basah outlet)
Mugging!

I think NLB is like our second home lah spent lots of time there. Quite conducive actually.

Well well I'm mentally drained and super tired today can't seem to focus and keep mispronouncing words my right hand's almost breaking thanks to four essays for IBM. Not sure whether the stuff I wrote are relevant but oh well.. shall not care about it anymore!

Will be going for the food fair at expo tmr and also to meet up with the rest. Went to the Robinsons sales at Hall 7 today but got nth much. Looking forward to post exams activities!

We went to catch the soft toy thing from the machine to kill some time and spent four dollars to catch this thing!

Very black right! We didn't want to catch this initially but because it was very near the edge, we strategised and pushed it into the drop hole haha. Since we thought of no one but XX to be the most suitable owner of this thing, we're gonna be nice and give it to him and demand four dollars in return hahaha smart move!

Has been shopping online for the whole of this month and spent quite a lot on my purchases booo I'm broke now!

Grace flew off to US on the 15th and will only be back on the day that I come back! It seems pretty interesting over there. Even my youngest sister, who is 11, will be leaving for Bangkok on the 28th for some school trip. She seems to me kinda young to be travelling with the school though haha but it reminded me of the time in primary six when I travelled with the school to Bangkok as well.

Oh I need to complain! I hate the post office lah! Made me wait for sooooo long and it's cold and claustrophobic there. So many people! The maid queueing up behind me stood very close to me I got no idea why! All of them seem to have lots of free time to slowly queue without getting impatient I have no idea why again! I was like tapping my feet away, looking at clock, sighing at some points in time and looking at people. There was this guy who took out bundles of fifty dollar notes from his pocket and was at the counter for about 25 minutes I was getting super impatient because the guy at the counter still laughed and joked with him when the queue was super long! Tsk!

Then when I reached home after around half an hour, my mum called and asked me to go with my youngest sister to her school for the BKK briefing because they can't make it on time. It all happened on Tuesday after my Soci paper and I was so tired!

About 12 more days to the end of exams! I've already thought of what I wanna do!

1. Bake myself in the sun I'm getting seriously fair..
2. Eat all the things that I wanna eat. I want chocolate buffet! wahahah
3. Meet ups with ting, grace, lai, yvn, huiwen, sin ee, pussy, cp and matthias (maybe). It's been kinda long since I last saw any of them!
4. Do some exercises like.. hmm.. bball? badminton? jogging? see how la i think i'll be kinda lazy.
5. Sleep till noon every day!
6. Work and earn some money!

Tough paper + wrong formulas on my part = omg! lalala kill me! I'm so gonna ♥ math for the next 3 days!

Just the other day, when my sisters were about to leave the house, the key to the padlock broke into two and because there's no spare key at home, they were not able to leave the house till my parents came back! It was kinda amusing at first I mean whoever heard of a broken key? Then the thought of the key breaking into two when I was about to leave the house for exams came into my mind! Whoa and I really can't think of any other ways of leaving the house besides waiting for my parents to bring the key back home from their workplace (that would mean being late for exams) , just forgoing the exams (but that means da bao! nono!) or call some hotline to saw away the padlock haha. I think the last resort is the most feasible. So glad that it did not happen on the day of exams and lesson learnt: always have a spare key :) Exams is about 8 days away! That's like soooo fast!

Tmr will be the last day of my intensive 6 days out of a week at school! Then followed by 3 days of school next week, after which, I dun think I'll need to go back to school all the way till September when the new term starts? hahha anyway on the bus to school for ibm uol revision today, I past by the usual stretch of HCI and saw a group of guys at the corner of the basketball court and I spotted jiao lian! Ny bbgt and hc bbbt have the same coach you see.. Then I remembered my hc bball idol during A divs last time whahaha he's damn cute! Yah anyway the main point is, I suddenly miss playing ball, although I do not miss jiao lian touching our heads with his hand and asking us to sub players after he finished digging gold lol.. Lucky he doesn't ask me to sub people often hahhaha

I ate one peanut tang yuan the other day :) Now I'm craving for sushi!

And one point to note: I've grown horizontally lah! I can feel it! And see it! People say my face became rounder also. What's gonna happen when in june and july when I'm overseas?! I'll definitely become even wider la! Alas! Woe is me!

I am good X. When income is lower and price of me increases, people demand more and hence X increases from Xo to X1 (not reflected in graph) because i'm a giffen good. Should have drawn it the other way round though, as in the case of Px decreasing. Then the qty of X would decrease instead of increase, which should be the correct way hahah anyway, just kidding! This graph is kinda difficult to draw using Paint actually. Can I turn into a luxury good someday? whahaha

Dim Sum at Rivercity restaurant was alright la I tried one piece of most of the stuff. Siew Mai and lotus rice are scary they were being treated as microphones! MF and Caleb are so gonna see them when they go down next time hahaha. Vantage Point is quite an interesting show but seeing the president being shot twelve times is kinda boring! Got more than 200 points at the bball machine again yayness although my arms' kinda tired. I'm glad I was eating ice cream and didn't have to play the finger game cuz my fingers are like so uncoordinated I'll probably lose the game after 2 minutes. Blooping game is much better :)

Went to Timbre Bistro @ The Substation after work on friday with dearests for quite an early dinner after which we headed for Changi Airport cuz we were kinda bored and it was only 8 plus when we left. It reminded us that in May, almost everyone will be out of town for quite some time. Grace to the states for 2.5 mths in mid May, Ting to most prob China for training flight, Lai may be heading to the states for holidays also and lastly me to NL for 2 mths. Hmm it's gonna be like 2 mths later that's so fast! We discovered that Tiger Airways fly to Perth too eh quite amused by it. And we were supposed to exchange our Christmas presents (yes christmas presents!) that day also but they forgot to bring it so oh wells.. another time then.

I am very tired! Long day today.. and tmr as well!

Saturday was movie plus heh-ing(prawning) with huiwen, cp and pussy and supposedly yvn it was a looong story dun be late(for sooooo long) again ah han~! You still owe me, okay us, like 8271648127641 breakfasts, lunches, highteas, dinners and suppers! Yup and Horton is seriously kinda not very interesting I think we were all yawning at some point in time hahha. So it was drizzling a little when we reached the prawning place at the bishan golf course we rented two rods for 3 hrs. Saw Jon there and it was his first time prawning also. Well he caught 10 plus prawns in the span of 3 hrs so I suppose we're gonna catch that many as well! But very unfortunately, we only caught about 10 prawns with 2 rods within the 3 hrs that is why they were all looking like that...

I caught the most number of prawns! 4 okay it averages to 1.33 prawns per hour hahah

And this is huiwen acting smart with her spects. I think my face is so round la! how huh?!

There's this very cute dog about batman's size but slightly shorter with very nice fur cuz the colour is very even. (My eyebags have at the same time worsened!)

The overall prawning experience was quite funny la there're ppl there who are super pro and caught a lot of prawns and that's so demoralising! The very young boy opposite us had quite a number of catches we were so jealous.

Headed to chomp chomp to have dinner after that my favourite is still the orh luah (is it spelt like that?) and that's when ah han met up with us with her very amazing n76 which can rotate about 240 degrees, whereas my n76 can only rotate up to a max of 170 degrees. Amazing eh? The reason being , she sat on her phone.

Hmm this whole week was quite fun. Need to start studying though. Mj-ed at shiying's house on monday. I shall not talk about it. lol. Then it was an exercising day over at eve's house on wed we played bball! Haven't played it in a very very very looong time. Got tired very quickly also. Koped the pics from eve's blog!

We had porridge buffet at Quality Hotel the food was edible la but not fantastic. Affordable too. So oh wells no complaints.

So so glad that the IT Fair is over it's more tiring than i thought it was. Even worse than my usual lenses promoter job even though the total number of working hours are the same. Guess it's the pacing up and down the booth serving really a lot of customers till I had to quench my thirst almost once every hour. My legs become very suan at the end of each day boohoo. Had to be admist the throngs of crowd in front of the booth for all the four days asking, "Hi sir, how can i help?" And the best answer i got was, "No, you can't help i have no money." I was like uhh okay fine -.-"

Before we actually put a beautiful fullstop (okay I'm exaggerating) to the end of the torturous four days, there had to be a really damn scary experience at the starbucks at suntec on the last day. Okay so the story goes like this..

We were at starbucks chilling and resting our very suan legs. Then out of nowhere this guy walked over to mf as he was sitting at the side, with both hands stretched out holding a piece of paper and was like 'crying', grabbing mf's hands and begging for money. At first I was really shocked like wth is he doing, and after 3 seconds, I deduced that people at other tables are playing truth or dare so I was hmm okay.. Then huh he knelt down and was really aggressive and asking for money. All eyes were on him including people from other tables. Everyone were really shocked by then already lo then caleb just took out two bucks and gave it to him. He kinda said thank you and then left. I was opposite them so I could see everything really clearly the guy is very fair with no disabilities he can walk, see, talk and not deaf I assume and it was really scary la I mean we were at starbucks not some coffee shop and such things can happen. It was around 11pm oh my tian! There are four handwritten numbers on the piece of paper and according to june's bf, such things happened to his friend before and he went to buy the number and striked! I can't rmb the numbers though. This is one scary encounter!

Finally a rest day yesterday after all the papers and work, me, june and eve went to catch The Leap Years together hmm it was okay lah hahah and basically today is a very slack day. Weather was bad kept raining, no chance to go out of the house at all. Wanted to go collect my IT Fair pay today but didn't in the end cuz it was raining really heavily and there is no shelter to the office somewhere near sim lim square. Shall go collect it on thurs or fri then. I was in front of the laptop the whole afternoon watching shows online. Dou niu yao bu yao so nice I influenced eve to watch!

Need to work tmr it's been about one month since I worked for my lenses job. Hope i'll remember to say, "Hi, lenses promotion." instead of "Hi, how can I help?" because there aren't so many willing buyers. hahah

Yay I changed my blogskin finally! And somehow, I went to click on my archives and randomly read some of my previous posts and realised that actually I should blog more(instead of once a month) so that when I am bored in the future, I can click and read on my previous happenings. I'm kinda tired these days. Been oversleeping and oversleeping and was almost late for my math paper on tuesday booo duno what's with the tuesday crowd and bus 74 was packed like cans of sardines. And it's not very good to live like super far away from the school because oversleeping a little can mean a lot! (okay i overslept for like 45 mins which was really bad and i haven't even packed my bag I had to rush like a mad cow to get everything in place, finding the towel, shoes, clothes and all because we were going to play badminton after the paper to shake some fats off!) Yeah and so in the end i alighted somewhere near amk to meet eve to take cab down to school cuz the only bus to school was too packed and no one could get on. Reached school slightly after than 10 but good thing the paper started 10 mins later.

Badminton was fun. Haven't played it since a very long time ago. We're sooo gonna do some sports again soooon.. I haven't had class outing since sec 3 but I'm glad we're always having group/comm outings and many mugging sessions (even though today's one was kinda lousy haha and we were cheated by the chocolate cheesecake at Hans!)

Ah lai's bday on the 22nd you're 20 now girl! Okay I'm going to be the next one to hit the big 2. But I'll be in NL! hohoho talking about NL, just 3 more months and I'll be off! :) But before that, I'd have to mug hard for the final papers now that prelims is halfway through. mugmugmugmugmugmugmugmug! Oh back to ah lai's bday. We were supposed to go to cosy bay lah den we drove around Kallang for a very long time cuz none of us knows how to go there so we called ppl for help. Called Hanwei cuz he told me he went there before and it was near carpark e or f and this place called mushroom pot is very visible. And so we finally found it and were super thrilled because we tried finding it for soooo long alr...... only to find out that cosy bay has closed down after walking towards the riverside. Kinda zzzz.. Ended up at Vila Bali.. nice ambience, v comfy, nice food (probably cuz we were famished cuz it was nearly 10 when we started eating) and had lotsa fun there taking pics and videos. :)

I had wanted to blog at least once before year 2008 but oh wells.. was busy working almost every day and going to sch on the days that I have lectures followed by meeting up with my friends so basically.. the past three weeks have been rather hectic and I didn't actually have to time to study although revison's supposed to start in Dec. So today.. which is like my stay-home day (finally after almost 3 weeks), I took out my notes to read! Okay yes read and kinda arrange them in order cuz they're in a total mess! Hoho no lect tmr cuz the lecturer's not feeling well so it's canceled so yes! I can stay at home for 3 consecutive days before lects on Thurs and Fri followed by work on Sat, extra IBM class on SUNDAY (again!), work on Mon, lect on Tues, work on Wed and lects on Thurs and Fri! I really am busy~ And I need to get an organiser real quick else I'll just forget all my work schedule, tests and deadlines to meet..

Alright enough of my horrible timetable.. so the year 2007 was actually not a very good one (perhaps the impact of one event is much stronger than any others). From what I remember..

I really enjoyed the later half of 2007 because there were many hapennings and laughters almost everytime. The first half was prolly not that great cuz of the sucky results and work in IRAS? I always dread going there to work haha

Yup so the past year was still alright for me i guess.. blessing in disguise perhaps? Hmm.. I didn't count down to 2008 I was online watching youtube after getting home from work when the clock struck 12 and then wished my parents happy new year and all.. so it was actually just like a normal day for me with work the next day.. New year resulutions? I dun usually make new year resolutions but because work was kinda boring that day, me and my colleagues wrote down some aims and everything.. I do hope they come true! :)

I'm on a money-saving mode for the more or less kinda confirmed trip to The Netherlands this coming june! Yays! But at the same time, I need to study for prelims in March and exams which will commence on 8th May and most probably end on 22nd May.

Hope this year will be a smooth sailing and happy year for all friends and family :)

Okay time to bring my blog back alive again. I know it's November now but somehow the month of October seemed to past so very sloooowly! Oh well.. December is nearing! But it's also a month of high expenses boohoo :( I also need to save super a lot for the not yet confirmed trip next year!

Our windsurfing event's over! It was kinda successful cuz there wasn't any major cockups here and there :)

Went for rockclimbing workshop last saturday with my nose almost dropping cuz of the flu (as usual) I was having.. tsk tsk! Actually I was expecting a super high rock wall like this one..

Kinda intimidating eh? so high hahah and also of course of my bad experience on the SMU rock wall at the open house in March this year. That's Yvn the spiderwoman at the top of the wall =P Hoho that's me struggling below! And that was the highest I could go!

It's the jeans it's the jeans not me not me! hahhaha.. Anyway, the wall at the workshop was not that high luckily and there're more steps. Everyone managed to climb up :D

I'm recently hooked onto The Sims 2 and O2 Jam thanks to my siblings cuz they're all having their holidays now. O2 Jam's total madness I can't keep up with pace and I'll usually end up with my fingers tangled or turning into a 'chicken' cuz of too many missed beats. Zzzzzz..

Hoho haven't been here for like super looong! Lotsa stuff and events I've got no idea where to start from! Okay from what I can remember, we had a Barney outing to Sentosa in August and it was almost full attendance! Too bad the weather wasn't that nice to us on the later half of the day. Played frisbee and went for the sky rider thing followed by the luge down back to where we started from.

Finally went to Night Safari on a particular night in August as well with my Odac og it's been like I duno how many years since I last went there. Animal shows are amusing:) The tram I was sitting in was actually driven by Ganaesh, my Src Foc Ogl! Such a coincidence!

Got into the sports dept in Src under the windsurfing committee. So far so good! :D We had to plan a BBQ for the whole sports dept the other day and it was a successful one yays! Before the BBQ day, we met up several times to try out the games and everything and it was embarrasing enough for the few lucky ones who had to do forfeits muahahah

Went for the Terry Fox Run last Sunday and it was the first time since July last year that I actually ran! But uhmm out of a total distance of 8km, I only ran _._(fill in the blank yourself)km and walked the rest of the distance. Boohoo so much for training my stamina for the past two years. Yup and it has been such a long time since I last had muscle ache although it wasn't as bad compared to those gotten from trainings last time.

Tried out frisbee yesterday as we're gonna have an ultimate frisbee match this coming Saturday and whoa I think I really cmi man hahah.. just a few times up and down the small area and I'm tired alr! Saturday how?!

I feel like eating Ben and Jerry's now!

Talked about sushi yesterday and I'm craving for it now as well!

Haven't met up with Yvn, Huiwen and Sin for a super loooong time already! Next Sat set arh! They're forever soooo busy. Then on last Saturday, I met up with Ting, Grace and Lai also after a super loooong time! We went to Pitstop and played boardgames. Somehow they prefer strategic games to mindless games. Isn't mindless games more fun??? hahahah

Alright here goes the ODAC trek! This time round, I'm in the orange group! I learnt my lesson and came in orange hahaha. Yup so there's only 10 ppl in an og altogether and plus 2 ogls. We had to meet super early in the morning and I couldn't sleep the night before! Reached Kota Tinggi at around noon, pitched our tents, had lunch, and started playing games.

There was this pool game as well. It was freezing cold! Plus it was drizzling! Luckily I didn't have to swim cuz i don't know how to =P But well.. everyone got wet!

Then on the first night, there was this night walk into the forest. So dark and scary lo! Plus we only have one green lightstick to carry with us. And it's actually 2 ppl to 1 lightstick! But that was the first thought. It was actually quite alright and not as bad as i thought. =) We had to look for pictures and rmb them and guess the titles. They're all pics of horror movies like ju-on, the grudge, shutter etc. My partner, Victor, could guess them correctly and I contributed to none hahahah. We missed the very first picture though! Yup and so.. they asked us to retire to bed or rather tents early cuz we'll be trekking the next day.

This was the very first 'waterfall' we see and yup everyone's wet! Super shiok to let the water fall on the back it felt like some kinda jacuzzi =)

And this was the second one! Big waterfall, really pretty! So close to nature hahaha. We then proceeded to the third and final waterfall. As below!

Okay this is not a picture of my og. But it's the last waterfall we went to. And it was at this waterfall where I fell twice on my butt! hahaha super painful cuz I landed on the rocks at the bottom of the waterfall cuz of the algae which made the rocks really slippery!

Then at night, we had the Ms Pelepah as well as some games and performances.

Daven, my og's Ms Pelepah! Another og's Ms Pelepah won the title though hahah but he's good lah very entertaining!

Yup then we had 'supper' at night. Cooked maggie mee and some other stuff with the mass tins. So like the guiding days in secondary sch!

And this sort of mark the end of the trek in Kota Tinggi. Had mass photo taking and then went to some seafood restaurant for lunch before heading back to Sg! It was really quite an experience! :D

School's finally started. Everything's quite alright for now. Back from two camps which are really fun and also met new, nice and interesting people. Went for the SRC Freshmen Orientation camp from the 18th to 20th July. I was in OG 9, the purple group and our group name is Royale Barney and "ching!" was our trademark action, together with the Barney song :)

The very first day was actually quite bad because i wore green instead of purple and so i'm like the green amongst the purple people! It was my bad because I was at some noisy place when my ogl called and gave some instructions and so I just said okay to everything. hahah but good thing I had a black tee with me so I dun look so out of place after changing into that.

So we had all those ice breaking games and stuff and we actually did quite well for all the station games except for one! Then in the evening there was this mass game at the field and we gotta roll in the mud. Eeeks! But it wasn't as bad as I thought and it turned out that we emerged as the champion group for the game! :D Our ally group, the Pink Panthers came in second but they emerged as the best og at the end of the camp. I supposed my og was ranked second hahahah

Okay I'm very lazy to explain each and every photo so basically, we had lots of group pictures and at the end of the camp, we all went to TM to have lunch at PizzaHut with all our barang barang. Was super tired!

Then on the 24th, we went for the bash at Butter Factory as an og. It was quite fun overall. I shall just put some pics!

Wow I have lots of things to blog about! Mainly because there's quite a number of events, birthdays actually, since the last time I blogged. Batman turned ONE on 20th June! One year is actually seven years of a dog's life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BATMAN! My elder sis bought him a 'cake' and big bone because the one he had previously don't really look like a bone already =)

Also on the 20th was Sin's bday. I told her that I wouldn't have remembered her bday if it wasn't for Batman. Muahahah.. Yup and this time, we finally get to go the zoo lah(although it wasn't on 20th itself)! That's like after 73676574 times saying that we'll go.

In the morning before we met Sin, we hurried to amk hub to finish touching up the shoes we painted for her and just randomly settled at somewhere near the ''waterfall'' to finish it off.

What's funny was that.. when we were just sitting down there, painting the shoes, many aunties and uncles walked past and kept looking at what we were doing. One of them commented that the shoes were very nice!! Gees

One unglam picture each! And basically there are like so many different kinds of monkeys la and the worst one of all is the one with ultra red and heavy buttocks. That's like totally omg. So pukable! We went to the cooling station if I don't remember wrongly because we were all feeling very hot! Oh and the mushroom Yvn had covering her face was actually one of Sin's presents. And actually there's really nth much in the zoo. I'll try night safari next time!

Then... it was my bday on the 30th! Had wanted to go to this restaurant at Clark Quay which I thought was quite nice but........... when we reached there, it was nowhere to be found. Guess what? It actually closed down -.-" Unreliable online sources! haahaah.. So in the end we settled for just some random restaurant along the riverside for dinner. And we did what we're best at. =)

Gees thanks a lot dearests! For the presents and everything! =) Graceeee... yours is coming! Oh okay I haven't finished talking abt what happened on my bday. Me and ting waited for cab for nearly one hr! Wow can't really imagine that. All thanks to the ang mohs who snatched our cab! They blatantly walked a few metres in front of us like it's nothing! Kns! So angry tt night! Reached home at an unearthly time. 2am! It shld have been 1am!

And so the next day, a Sunday, we went to play mj at ting's hse. This time round, I lost even more! Boohoo! I dun wanna play with them alr ahahha.. We went to the UK funfair after that and blew 25 bucks each on 3 rides. Played the mini roller coaster which wasn't really worth the money, the swing swing thing which was quite dizzy and cost $7.50 and lastly, the challenger, $10.00, which was the most heart stopping one. All of us felt giddy after that ahahha. Maybe it was a bit too much cuz the impact was really great and it kept rotating. Hahah it was fun though =)

So.. just yesterday, we went to chomp chomp to eat. It was supposed to be a wear-nice-nice-and-not-tee-and-shorts outing not to chomp chomp of course! But to a dinner buffet at Hyatt! We ended up in chomp chomp due to some unforeseen circumstances. hahah

Yvn suggested imitating the white bear on the tissue packet and made all of us do it so I shall only put her picture! hahahaha..

And I was trying to show off my new black and yellow BATMAN ring they bought for me which was one of my bday gifts =)

Yup yup I have only these 3 pics so far hahah.. And so for the past 2 weeks, it's either staying at home or going out. My second attempt at mahjong was quite bad. Lost $6.80 but dearest Lai lost almost twice of mine so i shall not complain hahaha let's go train up secretly then challenge grace and ting again!

And so the other day, I cannot rmb when, oh it was a saturday evening. I met up with Yvn the slowpoke and satisfied our cravings for xinwang which we had on the night before at 3am! And with Yvn around, it's always all the crappy pictures..

Then.. 2 days ago, I met up with Rachel! Like finally! The last time we met up was like 2 years ago. Chatted about lotsa stuff and thinking back on the Primary 6 trip to Bangkok and Chiangmai, we took tons of pics of the elephants and scenery but like less than 10 pics of ourselves haha and back then, digital cameras were not all popular and we spent like a bomb buying the films and developing them in the end. We also bought lotsa crap stuff like uhmm.. bookmarks, photo albums, lamps etc etc and all of them are still like kept in my cupboard. Such a waste of money. Yeah anyway we had Sakae buffet and almost stuffed ourselves to death hahah and I dun like the waiter! Rarrrh! But nvm.... Pics again!

We'll meet up soon ok! Friendship since P2 and still counting. =) After having the sushi buffet, we went to check out the mng sales and we saw Linlin and we were still talking abt her earlier on. Headed to Cafe Del Mar after that for Zoey's bday celebration. I didn't drink haha lest I puke again hahha..

Alright so another gathering yesterday. We were supposed to go to the zoo actually! But poor Cindy fell sick. So it became a normal outing to suntec/marina. We didn't do much things cuz Yvn the Slowpoke reached at 230! We told her to meet 1230 know! Always late and not worth the wait would be apt hahahah. We played the"basketball machine" or whatever you call that and I got the highest score for the first game! Shall not mention abt the second game yes..

We weren't able to squeeze into the car but Yvn managed to do it hahahah

Yays one week of no work is quite good. I think I really work on alternate weeks like one whole week of work and then one whole week of rest. Gonna be working again next week.. And my tan from sentosa is actually a little too over hahah.. got quite chaotah-ed. See the colour difference..

The sentosa event thing was quite fun.. as in there's no pressure to make sales cuz we're there mostly to promote the lenses.. Finally learnt how to play a bit of beach volleyball and yah frisbee was quite fun too. I've got really ugly tan lines boohoo.. need to get them even soon haha.. and I really hope I dun get any blacker!

Collected the certs and all the testimonials thing on wed in sch and ate at soupy place.. not as nice as last time alr.. Then it was shopping but we didn't buy much. Took lotsa crappy pictures though..

Wow I finally made a decision after such a super duper long period of consideration but I hope I dun have to take that path! Working at ____ sucks! I seriously dun wanna step into it ever again after next next week. We were like thinking of ways and means to leave work earlier due to too much boredom cuz we can't endure it even though it's only one more hour.

Excuse #1: I need to be back home by 5pm otherwise my parents would disown me.

Excuse #2: My boyfriend wants to meet me at 5pm otherwise he'd break up with me.

Excuse #3: I have a matchmaking session at 5pm.

Okay all of them are CRAP. We used some other more practical excuses instead.

I was working at the Watsons Fair at Suntec on Friday and Saturday and supposedly Sunday as well! But response was like very good so me and my colleague managed to sell all the lenses solution by 8pm on Saturday! Then there was like no additional stock so we need not work on Sunday. Both of us wanted so much to work cuz the pay was good hahhaha

And I was scolded on Saturday over nothing! There was this old man who asked me, " Where to pay?"
So I said, "Walk straight turn right."

Went DXO on Friday night nth much just chilled around and danced a bit and went home. Tired! I am still a GK it's only my second time going to a club!

First joke of the day: Pussy tried to plug in wires for a wireless controller.

Second joke of the day: The score for a soccer game between Yvn and Pussy was 0 is to 3, even after much 'fang shui-ing.'

Third joke of the day: The three of us tried rock climbing. Yvn and Pussy climbed all the way to the top. I managed not even halfway through!

Last joke of the day: Yvn's new name is SeeLing (Ceiling), recently acknowledged by her brother Pussy aka SeeYang.

Happy 19th Lai!

Okay it's belated cuz I was too lazy to blog these few days.
We had a celebration on the day itself, 22nd, and as usual, the four of us.

And I need to digress a little because I seriously hate wearing heels they kill! Plus it's actually one whole day because I wore it to work and then the celebration at night. Had to walk quite a distance at night and the pair of killer heels is such a torture I had five plasters on my left foot and it still hurts! My mum said it's because I didn't uhh.. bite the shoe before wearing so the shoe bit me first. Superstitions?

Yeah anyway back to the day, we had dinner at this Indian restaurant somewhere around Millenia Walk. Me and Ting had a tough time locating it and with the killer heels hurting like mad. Food was okay lah then we went to the Big O' to have desserts. It's been quite some time since the four of us met up and started cam-whoring I think it's become a tradition already haha. We had a great time =D

2 more freaking days to the horror and I know what I'm in for so I dun anticipate the arrival of this day it totally sucks. Thinking back, I still haven't done many things that I thought I'd do after the exams like swimming (which I duno how to, a dip into the pool wld be nice though), going to ECP, more suntanning sessions and yes! Exercising! I seriously hadn't exercised one bit since nov last yr till now tsk tsk! Hai.. I seem to be wearing dark coloured clothings to work recently and it's usually black. A sign maybe? hahahah okay whatever..

Yay there is leave tmr cuz I switched with my colleague who has compulsory leave but wish to work. It's the last day to sort of enjoy. Goodbye!

Rarrrh so angry so angry so angry!! Stupid virus! Thanks to ______ who spammed me and I was stupid enough to open it. I guess quite a few ppl are gonna say thanks to me too cuz I caused them to have the virus when it started to spam almost everyone on my contact list. Not once, but twice! Argh!!! So sry! Removed the stupid virus once and then it just popped up suddenly again out of nowhere and spammed again! Zzzzzzzz.. Irritating.. Then now I'm nt sure whether it's been cleared entirely or what cuz I know nuts abt such stuff! Grrrr!

Wow can't really believe we really went for boat rides along Sg River tdy! That's like quite amazing since those rides are usually meant for tourists and it was all huiwen's idea and she had been bugging ppl to go for boat rides! Yup but seems like the weather wasn't really very gd and there were drizzles every now and then. It was like quite exciting since it'd been a super duper long time since we all ride on a bumboat. Plus it was very cooling and windy.. very nice feeling!

Boat rides are actually quite exciting hahah! Tdy's quite fun and the time past quite quickly except for the waiting part! Miss Han you still owe me like 476207482 breakfasts, lunches, dinners and suppers! =)

Hmm.. I've nt got any mon to fri job yet so giving out tags was actually quite good and pays nt too bad also. Hahah so the very first day was giving out roses and I mean real roses and they're really heavy! Gave out pretty fast though.. cuz like which lady wld reject roses hahha.. But huh.. I've gt like no white polo tee and had to borrow from Ernest(many thanks!) and they(tsk tsk!) said I look like some hip hop dancer! Evil monsters! There was this Inter-JC Pageant thing at Zouk some time ago, last Saturday I think, and since it was inter jc, I kept wondering why there wasn't NYJC nor was there IJC. So I came to a conclusion that too few ppl turned up for prom and hence nobody was selected to participate in it? That was my guess and it was only tdy that I found the correct answer! So this was what I found online...

... this team of 16 students from the Nanyang Technological University had to scout junior college prom nights in November to find them.

The reason: They wanted contestants for a pageant they are organising, called Hollywood Glamour.The NTU students belong to a group that is interested in events management.

Said Ms Wang Wan Ting, 19, chairperson of the event's organising committee: 'We scouted for the contestants at their prom nights, because we felt that was when they looked most glamorous.'

To gain entry to each prom event, the organisers wrote to all 17 junior colleges in Singapore, requesting permission.

And all of them agreed - except Innova and Nanyang JCs.

Wonder why the sch didn't agree to this. Anyway, we didn't go for our prom and so didn't see how different ppl look on that day but if the sch had agreed to this, then again, I wonder who it'd be out of the 200 plus ppl who turned up for our sch's prom hahah.

A super duper belated happy new year to everyone! Uhh.. it's like 13 days after new year already.. but nvm! Well.. I've started work already, as a contact lens promoter and there are promotions for lenses be it normal dailies, monthly lenses, daily coloured lenses or monthly coloured lenses! Approach me if anyone wants to buy okay! Then I'll have some commission. heheh. So I've worked for three days, and first 2 days were actually quite bad! It was at J8 and standing there for ten hrs, I saw many familiar faces! :) Quite tiring for the feet and covered shoes made the back of my feet peel and have ugly scars eeeks! And uhh.. my sales was like quite bad also! Roadshow at Yishun on Mon was much better time past like super fast mainly due to the company I guess. At least it wasn't standing at the entrance of the shop giving out flyers alone. Sales was relatively better also :) I think I have a lot of fate with Elaine keep seeing her! Saw her on Sunday at J8 den again the next day at Yishun, with one of her friends ending up buying lenses from me wahahhaha.. Not working this weekend I'm super bored!!

May be taking up another office job as well.. den I'll be like wow super busy! Seems like lotsa ppl went into the army tdy.. no hair.. haha. Okay enough of mocking.. Went bowling some time before.. totally unglamourous.. wrong posture, wrong handling of the ball till yvn mentioned and just totally ugly!

Been eating quite a number of times at sakae lately like once almost every week! Something is quite wrong but anyway, one of the staff at marina sakae tdy claimed that my student pass is expired and I'm no longer entitled to the student buffet but adult buffet instead. Too much eh! Nobody said that when I ate at the same sakae at marina last week and last last week! Evil person! And they kept serving us extra things!

Hmm.. and I haven exercised I think I'm just plain lazy! Feel like cycling.. and suntanning again but weather's been quite bad lately :( Gotta go brush up skills on Microsoft Excel as well as Access cuz most office jobs require the knowledge of both! And since I'm like so free over this weekend, I shall go play my maple and do some uhh.. self-upgrading! Ciaos~!

Last post for this year! Shall start with Xmas itself! It was like a super unfortunate night. Had bbq at Elaine's hse andI didnt get to eat my second peice of bbqed wings that I've been craving for since ten thousand yrs ago! Rarrh! Had one though but it didnt really satisfy my craving! So we left quite early like ard 8 to meet yvn at her hse and it started to drizzle. Prepared ourselves and then decided to roam the streets since the place that we wanted to go was uhhh.. closed! Yes closed and we only realised that when we got there how irritating. It was like close to 12 am then. Got out of this place and were stuck cuz it was drizzling and quite heavily also. And thus we did stupid things like...

Hahaha result of getting too bored while waiting for the rain to be become less heavy. So sad lah roamed the streets with slight drizzle after that and walked along the sides of suntec before coming up with a decision to go to cine to catch midmight movies.

Bought tix for Charlotte's Web at 3 15am cuz tix for Night at the Museum was sold out. Had some time before the movie starts so we went to Balcony to chill a lil while. Yup and I said I'll nvr drink alcohol again and I didn't! =D Boon and yvn drank some kind of weird alcoholic drinks so choking! I drank mango tango hahahha. Charlotte's Web was like quite boring everything happened according to the book according to boon. Not nice! Btw, Curse of the Golden Flower also not nice! Eeeks! Watched the sneak preview tt time and decided tt it was only a little bit better than The Banquet which wasn't nice as well. Yeah so the movie ended at ard 5 we took a cab and headed back to yvn's hse. Quite tired by then alr but we only went to slp at 8 plus in the morning! Wah and this too much part.. at 9 45, somebody started drilling holes or whatever into the walls blah blah soo loud I woke up to check the time to see how long i've slept thinking tt perhaps it was like the usual ones where u feel like u slept for such a short period of time but when u woke up, it's alr late for sch or sth alr! Got back to slp at ard 11 plus and was woken up by the drilling once again at 12 plus! Angry! Yeah so all of us slept like damn little tt day! =( Thats why it was an unfortunate xmas night and boxing day!

Caught Night at the Museum on Fri with my sisters, brother and maid it was really funny! Finally had Sakae also but no Chawanmushi and there reason that they gave was.. the sashimi just arrived and the chefs are all busy preparing it and thus didnt prepare chawanmushi! Tsk! Weird reason! And when I left at 4 40 to attend a briefing, the chawanmushi becam available my stupid sister sent an mms to anger me! Eeeeeks!

It's new year's eve my plans to go out or whatever is still undecided! Tsk! Happy new year's eve!

I read Xiaxue's blog and have the craving for chocolate fondue like now!! Tsk! And it's like a few minutes past midnight. Craving for sushi too if I were to eat everything that I crave for then I'll just get fatter each day that's why gotta find substitutes to eat. I didn't exercise as planned and in fact, haven't exercised since the end of A's! Tsk! Wanted to go running in the evening but I overslept and woke up without even remembering that I was supposed to go running! Hai omg lah this sucks.

Xmas's coming soon and soon it'll be a new year, 2007. Hope it'll be a good one, unlike this year, which I think is really bad.

Yay I am back(2 days ago in fact)! Whoa shopping in Bkk was tiring. Walked from morning till night and retire back to hotel to rest and the cycle repeats itself for 5 days! Suffering from shoulder and slight muscle aches currently but it isn't that bad though. Spent quite a lot during the five day trip plus the shoes there are like so much more deal than that in Sg. I bought a total of 7 pairs and Yvn 8. Yup so exciting but almost all the shoes tt I bought are like either black or white and I think I gotta be uhh.. more colourful a bit! Ohoh the f21 clothes are all here alr! Nice nice! Ok so now i have like quite a number of new clothes I need not shop for the rest of Dec alr. I need to work! So back to Bkk, the flight there was 9am on the 6th didn't really slp well the night before cuz I was used to sleeping at ard 3 and we gotta wake up at 6 in the morn and tts only 3 hrs of slp! Plane was too uncomfy to slp also. And so we entertained ourselves with the camera for some time.

We headed to Platinum Mall to shop and tt place was super duper huge with like i duno how many shops and they just seem never ending. Havent really mastered the art of bargaining on Day 1 so we didn't really bargained a lot.

Dinner at this cafe/restaurant at Suan Lam. Food was quite alright and the view from where we sat was rather pretty too.

The night market there was quite nice to shop also i guess cuz we spent the most amount of money on Day 1!! Back to the hotel and was rather shagged we fell asleep soon after. Then! At 5 30am, Ms Han YunLei Yvonne woke me up and said it's time to wake up and not slp alr cuz she woke up and couldn't sleep anymore! The sky was like still dark and we were supposed to wake up only at ard 8 30 in the morn! hahah and yeah somehow i told her to get back to slp and we both slept and can't bring ourselves to wake up at 8 30am. This was how she looked like in the morning and I shall not post my unglam pic though hahaha

Had lunch at A&Ws which is a long time no see fast food restaurant and we shopped at Pratunam market (had a hard time remembering names of these places).

Wow and dinner was the best out of the 5 days in Bkk we had the Bento set at Fuji restaurant the food was super nice! Price was reasonable also.

Mouth watering eh? haha it was very filling and it comes with Miso Soup and Chawanmushi. Costs ard 11 SGD.

As it was the king's bday on the 5th Dec, streets were lit up brightly with lights..

Memorial Bridge night market laters. Didn't buy a lot of things from there though which was a good sign cuz we were alr overspending and we need to control our cash flow! Our loots by the end of the second day..

Hmm.. third day.. I like the third day! Cuz we didn't spend a lot. Yvn's foot initially and feet later got swollen due to unknown reasons. We forgot to take pictures of her swollen feet with bandage and ankle guard on each leg. Tsk why did we forget to take! Then I can show them here heheh.. We changed hotel tt night and we took weird pics lah!

Had this banana pancake which was like super duper nice lah very sinful but very nice!

Good thing Yvn's feet got much better on the forth day we went back to Platinum Mall because it was so big we could not finish shopping there on the first day. Bought more clothes this time round so.. yup! happy! =D The following pics are gonna be damn funny..

We watched Death Note 2 at night! What's ironic is that none of us had actuallly watched Death Note and we proceeded to watch Death Note 2. The movie's not bad quite funny at times BUT it's complicated! The cinemas there are so grand with super comfy seats! Uhh.. and then.. took weird pics like again with so many ppl looking at us! I almost wanted to dig a hole and jump right in!

Hmm.. they look quite little but in fact there's quite a lot and are rather heavy! Then then we got really hungry at night cuz we only had ice cream for dinner as we were all quite full at dinner time. Swensen's there dun have set meals anyway. So we called for room service to bring food up. It was 2am there and 3am in Sg. hahha

Looks nice right! We dug in immediately cuz we were so very hungry! These cost a total of abt 15 SGD.

Went to the famous Chatuchak on our very last day. Hmm.. not much things to buy there though.. plus! it was very very hot and stuffy in there! Couldn't wait to get out of the place hahaha..
Then! We were all ready to leave the hotel to get back to Sg! We were all shagged.. And our luggages were like super a lot!

Yeah and so this was how the five days were spent. I ate a lot.. need to shed off some fats alr! But overall it was fun.. I wanna go other countries too!!!! This is such a long post with so many pics hahaha alrights I shall turn in soon.. nights!

Finally finished watching Taiwan's version of It Started With a Kiss on youtube. Actually it's been there for a very long time alr. Yup at least it wasn't boring. Good leisure activity for killing time, since I need to ground myself for a few days due to some reasons. Sshhhhh!
My old sister said that this blog is getting boring since I haven't update for quite some time and that there's nth much to read about. Okay lor I'm gonna try to type a super duper long post!

All right first of all, I can't wait for the f21 clothes to arrive! hahah though I only bought two online, this is considered my first time shopping online! Plus everyone's clothes are gonna be with me and I get to see them first heheh.. Think they're gonna arrive before my BKK trip! Yay! But giving it some thought, I dunno where to wear them to ahahah nvm.. Im sure they'd be needed to be worn some time later. This is one of them it doesn't look nice here but it looks much better when worn! Very simple actually. The other is just a simple spag.

Buying these directly from official website is definitely much cheaper than grabbing those in the boutiques! And whats more, they're brand new and will not be stretched or anything. Bad thing is.. one gotta wait for the goods to arrive. I dun mind actually cuz it's not like I need to wear them badly.

Talking abt BKK trip, I'll be going with yvn, my sis and her bf on the 6 of Dec! hhahahha can't wait man I've started counting down alr just 9 more days!!! The last time I flew out of Singapore was like 6 years ago in Primary Six with some of my closest friends then also to Thailand. Rachel! I haven't met up with you! Wait till I have some money first haha.. And I am so so so damn broke I think my old sister is my temporary bank till I get a job lah and she's using that to blackmail me! How evil!
Okay back to BKK trip, I duno what I'm gonna buy back but I know there're gonna be many cheap deals and I'm so not going to buy what I bought when I was in Primary Six! Back then, I bought home a 'lamp' that requires some diy to put them together. It was pretty but it has been in my drawer ever since. Hahah what a waste of money I also bought a wooden photograph album wuth small sculptures of elephants on it. This is more practical cuz I actually used it and put several photos inside but has since taken all of them out to be put in another photo album. It then found a place in my drawer too. And looking at the pictures I took, I wasted so much money buying films (digicams were not so hyped up in the market then) to take pictures of scenery, elephants, stupid things like dead butterflies on display (eeks!) and other people other than myself! This time round is so gonna be different can't wait to shop and eat and of course take pictures!! Hahah I think digicams are such wonderful inventions.

Yeah and I mentioned that I am damn damn damn broke! I need a job after I come back from BKK it'd be best if the job is high-paying. But I so dun wanna go into F&B they dun pay high wages anyway. My previous job pays six an hr this time round it has gotta be higher to accpet a job right? No one wld want a worse-paying job unless there's a crisis or sth. So the whole point is I want and need to work. Best is with good conditions of course haha I'm so picky I think no one wants to hire me!

Hmm and I think this weekend sucks! Worst ever! So angry until I wanna scold everyone and whats worse I can't even leave the hse lest I scare everyone to death. And so I gotta hide at home to wait for the stupid blister to heal and become less visible. Good thing there's It Started With a Kiss as I've mentioned earlier to entertain me. Rarrh so angry so angry soooo angry! It's forever this case I'm actually quite glad there's chalet tmr and that I can finally let myself out of the hse because the blister is uhh.. burst and it's healing now. Okay sounds gross but it's the truth!

Finally finally finally it's over!
It was terrible counting down the day till the end of As.
Not gonna worry so much abt the results (yet).
I'm excited about the many many planned outings yays!! And the ultimate one is 6 Dec! Wheee~!
We were all finally like given a new lease of life yesterday no more setting alarm clocks at 8 or 9 am to wake up to study, though I'd usually wake up like 1 or 2 hours later, no more late nights mugging but perhaps late nights playing games or watching tv or going out or something. =D
I used the timetable that Ms Yau gave us to write the exam schedules and to count down.

This was 2 weeks ago on the 5 Nov when only Gp was over.

It then slooowly progressed to 14 Nov with only 2 more days of exams. And poom! It's over!

I need to go exercising!
I need to go and have big feast or something!
I need to go shopping! (but I'm saving for 6 to 10 Dec)
I need to cut hair!
I need to find a job in mid Dec!
I need money in the meantime too!

I'm like finally blogging.. Haven't even stepped out of the house for I duno how many days I think I lost touch with the outside world once again.

The only amusing thing at home is to see Batman do stupid things like going crazy all of a sudden and run around the house as if he were in an amusement park. He does nothing but eat sleep and play for one whole day.. so carefree.. need not worry abt A lvls! Tsk! He's so small his head is like the size of my fist and he's damn adorable lah! I feel like squeezeing him until he bian bian plus the fact that he's always curling up into a ball when he sleeps and makes me feel like kicking him! Oops.. signs of a potential animal abuser! Nah he's so small and so light and likes to act innocent and especially obedient when we're eating cuz he wants to eat too!

We put him in a plastic bag the other day and he looks so cute lah look!

Looks like somebody's bringing him to the market eh? hahahah raarrrhh! It's getting late shall sleep already! bb! ooh it's halloween! So.. happy halloween~!
